Odd Eye Circle

Odd Eye Circle was introduced as the second sub-unit of LOONA, following LOONA 1/3, as part of the ambitious Girl of the Month project. The project ran from 2016 to 2018, revealing one member each month with a solo single. Kim Lip was announced on May 11, 2017, and debuted with the single Eclipse on May 23. JinSoul followed with Singing in the Rain, and Choerry with Love Cherry Motion. The three members officially debuted as Odd Eye Circle on September 21, 2017, with the EP Mix & Match, led by the single Girl Front. A repackaged version, Max & Match, arrived on October 31, 2017, featuring the title track Sweet Crazy Love.

The group's music and music videos were integral to the LOONAVERSE, an interconnected storyline where each member had supernatural abilities: Kim Lip could time travel, JinSoul could traverse space, and Choerry could move between worlds through mirrors. Odd Eye Circle's debut EP received critical acclaim, landing on Billboard's Best K-Pop Songs of 2017 list and later being named the #1 K-pop album on Rate Your Music.

After LOONA's full-group debut in 2018, Odd Eye Circle's activities were paused. In 2022, the trio formed Odd Eye Circle+ with Heejin for a Japanese debut. In January 2023, all three members won their legal battle against BlockBerry Creative, terminating their contracts. They signed with Modhaus Entertainment, founded by former LOONA creative director Jaden Jeong, and became part of the ARTMS project. The lead single Air Force One incorporates retro synths and a confident groove, reflecting their growth and newfound artistic freedom under Modhaus. While the group does not have a unique lightstick or fan color, Orbits often use moon imagery and the colors associated with each member's solo era.

All three members shared a dorm room with fellow LOONA member Yeojin during their early days.

There is a large amount of unreleased music from the group's time under Jaden Jeong at BlockBerry Creative that could potentially be released in the future.
