Meovv is a five-member South Korean girl group under The Black Label. The group consists of Sooin, Gawon, Anna, Narin, and Ella. They are co-promoted internationally through a global partnership with Capitol Records.

Meovv is famous for its darker, R&B-infused pop sound that stands apart from the brighter concepts of many rookie groups. The group has achieved notable early success: its debut single "Meow" quickly charted on Korean streaming platforms, the debut EP MY EYES OPEN VVIDE (released 2025) features tracks such as "Toxic" and "Lit Right Now," and the members earned their first music show win with "Hands Up" roughly 244 days after debut. Park personally undertook the selection of each member, handpicking them for their unique talents and potential even before they had ever met one another. The group's name, Meovv (pronounced "Meow"; Korean: 미야오), is an acronym for "My Eyes Open VVide," with the double 'V' intentionally added for visual flair and to represent the distinctive vision of each member. From its inception, Meovv was envisioned to deliver a darker, R&B-infused pop sound, setting them apart from the brighter concepts often seen in rookie groups.

The five women, Sooin, Gawon, Anna, Narin, and Ella, were essentially strangers when they began their rigorous training together under The Black Label. Their individual backgrounds were remarkably diverse, forming a multinational composition that would become a hallmark of the group. Ella Gross, an American, had already established herself as a model since the tender age of two, with campaigns for global brands like Zara and GAP throughout her childhood. Gawon, born in New Jersey, brought experience as a former YG Entertainment trainee and an Adidas model. Anna, who is Japanese, had a significant modeling career as an exclusive model for Seventeen Japan. Completing the lineup, Korean members Sooin and Narin contributed strong dance and performance backgrounds. Anticipation for the group began to build in early 2024 when rumored trainee photos circulated online. However, following Annie's reported departure from the pre-debut lineup, The Black Label officially unveiled the final five-member group in August 2024. This grand introduction revealed the confirmed lineup of Ella, Gawon, Sooin, Anna, and Narin, and simultaneously announced the group's name, Meovv. In the same month, The Black Label solidified Meovv's global reach by announcing a partnership with Capitol Records for international co-promotion . Just one month later, on September 6, 2024, Meovv made their official debut with the digital single "Meow." As of 2025, no official lightstick or fan colors have been announced, and the fandom is still developing its traditions. Given the group's recent debut, fan projects and community activities are in early stages, but PAWMPAWM has already shown strong support through streaming and voting for music show wins. Meovv stands for "My Eyes Open VVide" with two 'V's instead of a 'W' for visual fun and to represent each member. The five members met for the first time only after being selected by Teddy Park, they were strangers when they began training together. Sooin was known as "Swim Kim" during her trainee days. The group regularly endures long music video shoots; Gawon mentioned a 14-hour shoot, and Ella described how they cope by getting "manic and start making jokes about everything." Meovv is The Black Label's first-ever girl group, though Teddy Park previously produced much of BLACKPINK's discography. Members speak Korean, English, and Japanese.
