Clean Bandit is an English electronic music group known for blending elements of classical music and contemporary dance music. Clean Bandit formed in Cambridge, England, in 2008, when University of Cambridge students Jack Patterson and Grace Chatto decided to establish a band. Both shared a profound passion for classical music and electronic dance music, a fusion that would become central to their identity. They soon expanded the lineup, recruiting Jack’s brother, Luke Patterson, on drums, and fellow student Neil Amin-Smith as a violinist.
