Gretchen Whitmer

Whitmer's tenure as governor has been marked by significant achievements: she signed over 1,000 bipartisan bills, made the largest education investments in state history for four consecutive years, cut taxes for small businesses, paid down nearly $14 billion in debt, and brought the state's rainy-day fund to an all-time high of $1.6 billion. She also announced 35,000 auto jobs and fixed thousands of miles of roads and bridges. Her cabinet was the most diverse in Michigan history.
