Records
Souness is one of the most decorated Scottish footballers in history. His collection of 17 major trophies as a player includes three European Cups and five English league titles, a feat matched by few. He is one of only a handful of players to have won the European Cup with Liverpool and then managed the club. In 2024, he was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for services to football and charity, capping a career defined by relentless winning and leadership.

Raised £1 million for charity by swimming the English Channel
In 2023, at age 70, Souness completed a six-person relay swim of the English Channel in a wetsuit, raising £1 million for DEBRA.
