GFriend achieved milestones that few groups from small agencies have matched. They were the first to break the 100,000 pre-order barrier for an album from a non-major label. Their string of wins at the Golden Disc Awards and MAMA for Best Dance Performance highlights their technical prowess. Being the first girl group invited to the Grammy Mini Masterclass in 2020 recognized their impact beyond just commercial sales.
