Clooney is one of the few actors to have won Oscars in both acting and producing categories. He has received five Academy Award nominations overall (four acting, one producing) and has won two. His three Golden Globe wins span acting and producing. He is a two-time Emmy winner for directing and producing. In 2018, the American Film Institute awarded him the AFI Life Achievement Award, and he received the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the 2019 Golden Globes. He has been named to the TIME 100 list of most influential people twice, in 2006 and 2009.
