George Cheeks

Cheeks' record is measured in scope rather than statuettes. In October 2026 he became one of the only executives in the history of American television to hold simultaneous oversight of three separate studio brands, Warner Bros. Television, CBS Studios and Paramount Television Studios, an arrangement that followed the Skydance, Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery merger. Before that he had run the CBS Entertainment Group from March 2020 and served as Chairman of TV Media at Paramount, giving him a view of both the network schedule and the production pipeline behind it. Harvard Law's Center on the Legal Profession selected him for its alumni conversation series, a recognition of an unusual career path from business affairs to creative leadership.
