Geoffrey Rush is the only Australian to achieve the Triple Crown of Acting, with an Oscar, an Emmy, and a Tony to his name. He has won three BAFTAs, two Golden Globes, and four SAG Awards. In 2012, he was named Australian of the Year, and he was appointed a Companion of the Order of Australia, the nation's highest civilian honour. As the founding president of the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts, he has shaped the industry at home. Across more than 60 films and numerous stage and TV roles, Rush has consistently delivered performances that are both daring and deeply human.
