Records

While Wilders has not amassed traditional entertainment accolades, his political achievements are significant. He founded the PVV in 2006 and led it to become the largest party in the Netherlands in 2023, a historic feat. He has been a defining voice in European populism, influencing debates on immigration and Islam across the continent. His longevity as a party leader since 2006 is notable in Dutch politics.

AwardsWilders has received few traditional awards. In 2010, he was given the Freedom of Speech Award by the Danish Free Press Society. In 2015, Dutch magazine Elsevier readers named him Politician of the Year. He has also been honored by conservative and libertarian groups internationally, though these are not mainstream institutional prizes.
