Sir Garry Sobers' place in cricket history is unmatched. He is the only player to have held the world record for the highest Test score (365*) for 36 years. His all-round statistics, over 8,000 runs and 235 wickets in Tests, place him in an elite class. He was the first player to hit six sixes in a first-class over, a feat that remains iconic. In 2007, an ICC poll voted him the greatest cricketer of all time. His legacy as the ultimate all-rounder endures.
