The sequel to the 2014 cult hit Goat Simulator arrived on November 17, 2022, with a title that's a joke in itself: there is no Goat Simulator 2. Developed by Coffee Stain Studios and Coffee Stain North, the game landed on Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S that day, then spread to iOS and Android on December 5, 2023, Nintendo Switch on August 27, 2024, and PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 24, 2024. A Nintendo Switch 2 version followed on April 1, 2026, announced just weeks before during a February 2026 showcase.

Set on the fictional island of San-Angora, the game is a physics-based sandbox where you play a goat whose tongue can grab nearly anything. The core loop is pure chaos: complete absurd quests, unlock silly costumes, and maximize destruction. Four-player cooperative mode lets friends join in, either locally or online, turning the island into a shared playground of mayhem. The humor is self-aware and irreverent, parodying open-world conventions and gaming tropes with a straight face.
