Active Matter

Matter Team and Gaijin Entertainment are bringing a strange mix of gritty military simulation and sci-fi horror to players this September. Active Matter launches on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Microsoft Windows with a release date set for September 15, 2026. This first-person shooter drops you into a world where realistic ballistics meet the unsettling logic of the SCP Foundation universe. You will handle heavy weapons with weight and precision while facing anomalies that defy standard physics.[edit]
