FSV Frankfurt, officially Fußballsportverein Frankfurt 1899 e.V., is a German football club rooted in the Bornheim district of Frankfurt am Main, Hesse. Founded on August 20, 1899, by sixteen boys after a Sunday kickabout at Glauburgplatz, it is one of the oldest clubs in the region, with a history spanning over a century. The club has maintained its identity as a symbol of local pride, navigating the German football pyramid from its early days to the modern era.

Currently, the men's team competes in the Regionalliga Südwest, the fourth tier of German football. The club's home venue is the Stadion am Bornheimer Hang, often referred to as the PSD Bank Arena due to sponsorship naming rights, with a capacity of approximately 12,542. Under head coach Benno Möhlmann, the squad is characterized by youth development, with an average age of 23.8 years and a DFB-certified youth development centre, one of only seven among fourth-division clubs in Germany.

FSV Frankfurt's most significant rivalry is with city neighbors Eintracht Frankfurt, a clash known as the Frankfurt Derby. The club's greatest success came in 1959 when they won the German championship, defeating Kickers Offenbach in the final. The women's team, once a formidable force, was disbanded in 2006. FSV Frankfurt was founded on August 20, 1899, by sixteen boys following a Sunday kickabout at Glauburgplatz. The club quickly became a fixture in local football, and by the 1930s it was competing in the top flight of German football. In 1933, FSV won the Tschammerpokal, the predecessor to today's DFB-Pokal, marking an early high point.

The club's golden era came in the late 1950s. In 1959, FSV Frankfurt won the German championship, beating Kickers Offenbach in the final. This victory remains the club's greatest achievement. Following the introduction of the Bundesliga in 1963, FSV was not among the founding members, but it did spend several seasons in the second division. Financial struggles and relegations saw the club slide down the tiers, and by the 1980s it was playing in the amateur leagues.

The 1990s brought a revival. FSV climbed back to the 2. Bundesliga in 1994 and enjoyed a stable period there until relegation in 2001. After another promotion in 2008, the club remained in the 2. Bundesliga for several seasons, reaching the semifinals of the DFB-Pokal in 2011. However, financial difficulties led to another relegation in 2016, and the club has since competed in the Regionalliga Südwest.

Off the pitch, the women's team was a dominant force in German football, winning several championships in the 1990s, but the team was disbanded in 2006. The club has since focused on youth development, earning DFB certification for its academy, which has produced players like Karl-Heinz Körbel, who went on to become a legend at Eintracht Frankfurt.
