Francesco Totti is widely regarded as one of the greatest Italian footballers of all time and arguably the most iconic one-club man in football history. His loyalty to Roma over 25 seasons, during which he turned down offers from Europe's elite clubs, made him a legend in Rome. He holds the record for most Serie A goals for a single club (250) and most appearances for Roma (786 in all competitions). He is the only player to have scored 250 or more Serie A goals for one club. His five Serie A Italian Footballer of the Year awards are a record, and his 11 Oscar del Calcio wins are unmatched. Totti's 2007 European Golden Shoe made him the first Italian winner in over 50 years. He was named to the FIFA 100 in 2004 and received the UEFA President's Award in 2017.
