In August 2026, Framework introduced the Framework Laptop 16, marking a strategic shift into high-performance computing. This model utilizes AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics, becoming the first laptop to offer upgradable discrete GPUs.
