    About This Album

The Rolling Stones returned with their twenty-fifth British and twenty-seventh American studio album, Foreign Tongues, on 10 July 2026. Produced by Andrew Watt, the 12-track record blends rock with blues, soul, and pop flourishes. It features an all-star guest list including Steve Winwood, Robert Smith, Paul McCartney, Bruno Mars, and Chad Smith, alongside contributions from longtime associates Steve Jordan, Darryl Jones, and Benmont Tench. Most notably, the album includes a song recorded with the late Charlie Watts, giving fans one final taste of the original rhythm section.

The lead single, "In the Stars", dropped on 5 May 2026 via YouTube and streaming services, backed with "Rough and Twisted". That B-side had earlier surfaced in extremely limited quantities as a physical 12-inch single under the pseudonym The Cockroaches, a name the band used in the 1970s for secret club shows. A second single, "Jealous Lover", followed on 26 June, showcasing the band's enduring knack for swaggering rock and roll.
