Fer López

At 22, López's honours list runs to a single line, and that is the honest picture. The EFL Goal Hero of the Month award for October 2026 is his first individual recognition in senior football, and it arrived in unusual circumstances: he collected it during a week when manager César Peixoto was publicly saying he was not yet at full rhythm after an injury picked up on Spain Under-21 duty. What makes the gong worth noting is the context around it. He had five goals from 10 starts in the 2026-27 Championship season at the time, a return that put him among Wolves' more productive attackers. Add the August 2026 reporting that AC Milan-linked recruitment had him on a playmaker shortlist, and the shape of a rising career is visible even if the trophy cabinet is not yet full. Spain Under-21 recognition is on his record too. The rest is unwritten.
