Fei Qinyuan spent her childhood in Shanghai before turning her attention toward an entertainment career. Public records indicate she cultivated interests in archery and shooting during her early years, hobbies that would later become signature elements of her idol persona. These skills provided a unique angle for her development, distinguishing her from other trainees who focused solely on dance or vocal training. The path to stardom required navigating the rigorous audition process for SNH48's fifth generation, which launched in 2016. She successfully passed the selection and officially joined the group's expanding roster. The training period was intense, involving months of preparation in singing, dancing, and performance etiquette before she made her debut. While specific solo award wins are not widely documented compared to her group contributions, her commercial success is derived from collective album sales, merchandise, and ticketed events. In October 2024, she filed an appeal against the management agency over her contract terms, initiating a contentious legal battle. The situation concluded in June 2026 when she lost her appeal, reaffirming her contractual obligations and marking a pivotal chapter in her professional life. Following this ruling, she continues her activities under the existing contract framework.[edit]
