FC Dinamo Batumi has called the coastal city of Batumi in Georgia's Adjara region home since its founding in 1923. The club competes in the Erovnuli Liga, standing as one of the oldest and most consistent institutions in Georgian football. Their record includes two league titles, a Georgian Cup victory, and two Super Cups, placing them third on the all-time national points list by 2026.

The team plays its matches at the Batumi Stadium, also known as Chele Arena, where local supporters gather to cheer for their squad. In 1990, the club briefly adopted the name FC Batumi before reverting to the historic Dinamo moniker in 1994. By August 2026, they continued to compete fiercely in the Crystalbet Erovnuli Liga with fixtures against teams like FC Samgurali Tskhaltubo and Torpedo Kutaisi.
