Folarin Falana arrived in Lagos on October 27, 1990, and now goes by the stage name Falz. He works as a rapper, comedian, and lawyer while building a career that spans over a decade. His journey started in secondary school where he formed a group called The School Boys with a friend. That early spark led to his professional debut in 2009, though true recognition came later with the hit song Marry Me featuring Poe and Yemi Alade. Falz operates Bahd Guys Records, an independent label he owns and runs. His discography showcases a steady evolution of sound and message. Wazup Guy launched his album career in 2014, followed by Stories That Touch in 2015. He continued this momentum with 27 in 2017 and released Moral Instruction in 2019. Each project reflects his unique ability to mix humor with serious observations about Nigerian society. Beyond music, Falz has made significant strides in acting and comedy. He appears frequently in films and television shows across Nigeria. His work often highlights local issues through satire, making complex topics accessible to wide audiences.
