Estrella Xtravaganza

Estrella Xtravaganza is a Spanish drag performer, singer, and actress from Jerez de la Frontera. Known for her sharp wit, campy glamour, and deep Andalusian roots, she first caught the spotlight as a Top 3 finalist on season 2 of Drag Race España. Since then she has taken her act international, competing on Drag Race Down Under vs. the World and landing scripted roles in the acclaimed Vestidas de Azul. With a growing music catalog and a devoted Instagram following of over 148,000, Estrella keeps building a career that mixes humor, polish, and a genuine love for Spanish culture. [edit]

Fernando Carretero Vega grew up in Jerez de la Frontera, a city in southern Spain known for its flamenco heritage and sherry production. That Andalusian backdrop shaped the extravagant, theatrical style she would later bring to drag. Before stepping into the werk room, Estrella trained in journalism and comedy, skills that show up in her sharp banter and quick wit. Her drag name, Xtravaganza, signals the over-the-top aesthetic she embraces, and early on she built a presence through live performances and social media. She launched a YouTube channel where she posted music and collaborations, including a track with Mariana Stars called Universo Drag. Those early creative moves laid the groundwork for her breakout moment when she was cast on Drag Race España season 2. [edit]

Estrella's big break came in 2022 when she competed on Drag Race España season 2. Her mix of humor and polish took her all the way to the finals, finishing in the Top 3 behind winner Sharonne. That run opened doors fast. Later that year she joined Reinas al Rescate, a reality series where she, Pupi Poisson, and Sharonne traveled to small Spanish towns to spotlight LGTBIQ+ stories. In 2023 she landed a role in Vestidas de Azul, a spin-off of the hit Veneno universe created by Los Javis, marking her move into scripted television. She also performed in the live stage show El Gran Hotel de las Reinas in Vigo in October 2024. Then came the international call: in July 2025 she entered the werk room on Drag Race Down Under vs. the World, representing Spain on a global stage. She has also appeared in the short film CCCC Stories and the feature Bestiario. [edit]

Estrella Xtravaganza currently holds the 23rd most famous person in Drag designation within the iFANN Global Fame Rankings, a standing she maintains with remarkable consistency according to the latest global metrics. This placement reflects her sustained visibility across international competition stages and her expanding work in scripted television. While her professional footprint has grown significantly since her initial breakthrough on Spanish reality television, her fanbase remains a distinct community without a formalized name or documented organized campaigns. Unlike some of her peers who have spawned dedicated fan clubs with specific rituals or fundraising initiatives, Estrella's supporters engage primarily through social media interaction and live attendance at her performances. The lack of an official fandom title does not diminish their dedication; rather, it highlights a more organic connection formed through her unique blend of Andalusian charm and campy humor. As she prepares for her upcoming appearance in Drag Race Down Under vs. the World, this loyal following continues to support her multifaceted career as a singer, actress, and performer without needing a structured organization to rally behind her.[edit]

She hails from Jerez de la Frontera, a city renowned for its flamenco and sherry production, and she seamlessly weaves these Andalusian influences into her drag aesthetic. A fan-voted title, Miss Muerta de, has been mentioned in online circles, though its full meaning remains a delightful mystery to many. She maintains a YouTube channel with over a thousand subscribers and previously collaborated with Mariana Stars on a video titled Universo Drag. Her drag name, Xtravaganza, reflects her love for the extravagant and the campy. During her time on Drag Race España Season 2, she was voted Miss Muerta de, marking a significant moment in her early career trajectory. In 2023, she expanded her acting portfolio by appearing in the acclaimed series Vestidas de Azul. Looking ahead, recent announcements confirm her casting for the international crossover competition Drag Race Down Under vs. the World, set to premiere in July 2026. While no specific legendary stories or viral meltdowns have become part of her folklore yet, her journey from a local Jerez performer to an international star remains a compelling narrative for her growing audience.[edit]
