Records
Eric Clapton's list of accolades is extraordinary. He is the only artist inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame three times: with the Yardbirds (1992), with Cream (1993), and as a solo artist (2000). His 18 Grammy Awards include Record of the Year and Song of the Year for "Tears in Heaven." He was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in 2004. Rolling Stone ranked him #2 on the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time. He has also received honorary doctorates from the University of Surrey and Berklee College of Music.
