Elizabeth Strout

Strout's Pulitzer Prize for Olive Kitteridge placed her among the most celebrated American novelists. The book's commercial success, over a million copies sold, and its Emmy-winning HBO adaptation expanded her readership enormously. Her novels have been shortlisted for the Booker Prize twice, for My Name Is Lucy Barton and Oh, William!. The Siegfried Lenz Prize recognized her entire body of work. She is one of the few authors to have two novels selected for Oprah's Book Club.
