Ed Speleers

Speleers has not collected the trophy hardware that usually defines an awards profile, and he has said little about it. What he has instead is a run of castings that most actors would envy: the lead in a studio fantasy at 18, a two-series arc in one of British television's most-watched exports, a villain in Outlander, a central role in the final season of Star Trek: Picard, and a part in the fourth season of You. Those are the kinds of roles that keep an actor working across three decades, and they have given him a profile in both the UK and the US without ever making him a tabloid fixture.
