Drew Pavlou's record is not measured in trophies, and pretending otherwise would be dishonest. What he has is a different kind of distinction: he was profiled by the Tibetan Centre for Human Rights and Democracy as a "Dissenting Hero" at age 21, while still an undergraduate at the University of Queensland. That is a rare thing for a student to collect. His 2020 suspension became a national story that drew comment from a former Prime Minister, and his 2022 Wimbledon ejection put his face in front of an international audience that had never heard of student politics in Brisbane. He founded a political party, ran for the Senate and deregistered the party himself, all before turning 25. For a figure whose currency is attention and argument rather than silverware, the record is substantial on its own terms.
