Don't Tap the Glass

Don't Tap the Glass, stylized in all caps, is Tyler, the Creator's ninth studio album, released through Columbia Records on July 21, 2025. The album marks a new chapter for the artist, who produced all ten tracks himself. It blends hip-hop and contemporary R&B with unexpected sonic detours, exploring themes of isolation, desire, and self-reflection. Guest appearances come from Pharrell Williams (under his own name and his Sk8brd alter ego), Madison McFerrin, and Yebba, each adding distinct textures to Tyler's production.

The album was preceded by two singles: "Ring Ring Ring" and "Sugar on My Tongue," sent to US rhythmic radio on July 30 and August 20, respectively. Critics generally praised the project, and it debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. Its release date coincides with the eighth anniversary of Tyler's fifth album, Flower Boy (2017). Three days before release, Tyler teased the album through art installations during his Chromakopia: The World Tour and a merchandise website. Early media speculation about guest features and track listing was debunked by Tyler. On July 20, he hosted a listening party in Los Angeles for 300 guests, enforcing a strict no-camera, no-cell-phone policy. In 2026, Tyler embarked on a Latin American tour, including headline spots at Festival Estéreo Picnic and Lollapalooza Chile, Argentina, and Brazil.[edit]
