DJ SpinKing

DJ SpinKing is an American DJ and music producer known for blending hip-hop rhythms with house music structures. Born in The Bronx and raised in New Jersey, he has built a reputation for high-energy mixes and strategic industry partnerships since starting his career at age 17.

As of 2026, he remains a key figure in the East Coast club scene, recently securing a major deal with Warner Music Group and Asylum Records. His work bridges the gap between underground mixtape culture and mainstream commercial success, earning him respect as a "DJ's DJ" among peers and fans alike. [edit]

SpinKing grew up immersed in the vibrant musical culture of New Jersey after being born in The Bronx. This environment provided the perfect backdrop for his early development as a musician. He began his professional journey behind the decks at just 17 years old, quickly immersing himself in the local club scene where technical skill was paramount.

Before achieving widespread recognition, he honed his craft through countless underground mixtapes and intimate live performances. During these formative years, he developed a signature style that fused the gritty beats of hip-hop with the driving energy of house music. This unique approach allowed him to stand out in a crowded field and build a loyal following based on his ability to control a crowd and deliver seamless transitions. [edit]

His breakthrough came in 2011 when he released his debut mixtape Hip House, which featured notable artists like Meek Mill and Fatman Scoop. This project introduced his genre-blending sound to a wider audience and established him as a rising talent in the region.

In 2013, he followed up with the mixtape Hip Hop House, releasing the hit single "Body Operator." The track became a regional anthem featuring Jeremih and French Montana, significantly boosting his profile across the Northeast. By 2014, he had expanded his reach further by collaborating with producer Vinytz on "Adult Swim," a single featuring A$AP Ferg and Tyga that cemented his status within the mainstream hip-hop sphere.

SpinKing continued to evolve beyond the turntables, expanding into broader entrepreneurship while maintaining a strong presence on platforms like Power 105.1 FM. In the 2020s, he secured a significant deal with Warner Music Group and Asylum Records via DNR Music Group, marking a shift from independent artist to signed label talent. As of late 2026, he remains active, releasing new tracks like "Beat Go" featuring Fetty Wap and discussing his career trajectory on high-profile media outlets. [edit]

Media portrays SpinKing as a "for the culture" artist who respects the roots of DJing while embracing modern production techniques. His public image is characterized by a sleek, modern aesthetic that bridges classic hip-hop culture with contemporary electronic dance music. Unlike many peers who document their lives extensively, he keeps a professional distance, focusing attention on his craft rather than celebrity gossip. [edit]

The bulk of his wealth stems from multiple revenue streams including royalties from popular tracks like Hip House and Hip Hop House, high-paying club residencies, and festival appearances.
