Danis's competitive achievements are rooted in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, where he earned multiple IBJJF gold medals at the highest belt levels. His black belt world championship wins in 2017 and 2018 place him among the elite grapplers of his generation. In MMA, he remains undefeated with two first-round submissions under Bellator. His Misfits MMA title in 2024 added a professional championship to his resume, though his career is defined as much by his ability to generate attention as by his hardware.

AwardsDanis has won multiple IBJJF gold medals, including the World No-Gi Championship in 2016 at brown belt, the Pan No-Gi Championship in 2017 at black belt, and the European Open in 2018. He also won the Misfits MMA Light Heavyweight Championship in 2024.
