    About This Album

Busta Rhymes and the late J Dilla reunite on Dillagence II, a project that finally unlocks over 300 beats left behind by the producer before his death in 2006. Released August 25, 2026, through Conglomerate Entertainment, this hip-hop collection serves as the sequel to their 2007 album Dillagence. The album spans 19 tracks, blending Dilla's signature dusty drums with a fresh vocal approach from Busta that steps away from his trademark speed for a more laid-back flow. Guest spots include D'Angelo, Big Sean, Anderson .Paak, Ludacris, Lil Wayne, Common, Jon Batiste, Talib Kweli, T3, Honey Bxby, and La Reezy. Approval came directly from Dilla's estate and mother Maureen Yancey.

Promotion included music videos for singles "Spazzz" and "Talk Ya Shit" featuring Lil Wayne, alongside "This Woman" with D'Angelo. The title track "How the Boss Will Deliver" also stands out as a significant cut on the record. While some initial promotional materials referenced an August 28 release date due to regional rollout differences, the official drop occurred on the 25th across major streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music.
