Busta Rhymes returns in 2026 with Dillagence 2, his twelfth studio album featuring production entirely from the late J Dilla. Set to drop on August 21 via Conglomerate Entertainment, this project marks a significant reunion of two hip-hop titans who collaborated frequently before Dilla passed away in 2006. The rapper pulled from over 300 beats left behind by the producer, making this record a rare chance to hear their chemistry fully realized after decades of separation.

The album expands on the legacy started by the 2007 mixtape Dillagence, which originally showcased Busta rapping over unreleased instrumental tracks. That earlier effort included features from Q-Tip, Talib Kweli, and Raekwon, setting the stage for this full-length collection. Fans can expect 14 tracks that weave together jazz samples, broken beats, and lyrical prowess.
