The story unfolds around a "Summer Project" science assignment that spirals into high-stakes battles, blending educational themes with the franchise's signature action. Unlike previous entries featuring seasoned partners, this series zooms in on the earliest stages of digital life, showing how simple data packets transform into complex companions.

Ayumu Minato handles both writing and illustration for the project, building on his experience with Digimon Paradox and the one-shot Digimon Believers. Original concepts come from Akiyoshi Hongo, the creator who defined the universe. The manga officially launched on October 2, 2026, appearing in the November issue of Strongest Jump.
