Diego Simeone is the most successful manager in Atlético Madrid's history, with 13 trophies. He is the longest-serving manager in La Liga history, having led Atlético since December 2011. His 2013–14 La Liga title broke the decade-long dominance of Real Madrid and Barcelona. He has been named World Soccer Manager of the Year and IFFHS World's Best Club Coach in 2014.
