Diego Milito's crowning achievement is his role in Inter Milan's 2009-10 treble, where he scored the decisive goals in all three finals, a unique feat in European football. He is one of the few players to have won the UEFA Club Footballer of the Year award while playing for an Italian club. His 24-goal Serie A season in 2008-09 remains one of the finest individual campaigns by a striker in the league's history.
