Dez Machado

Desiree "Dez" Machado grew up on camera and never really left the frame. Born May 28, 2004, in California (Famous Birthdays, Net Worth Post), she started on YouTube at ten, first as Desdamona, then as DEZ MACHADO, building a soft-glam GRWM-and-vlog universe for teen girls that now counts 1.14 million subscribers and 125.5 million views as of 2026 (live iFANN data, see Fame & Fandom).

The industry noticed early: in October 2019 she was named a featured creator for the 11th VidCon alongside the Stokes Twins and Ben Azelart (Tubefilter). In February 2024 she became a mother to a daughter (Famous Birthdays).[edit]

Machado was born Desiree Machado on May 28, 2004, in California (FresherPost). She is of mixed Mexican, Japanese, and white ethnicity, raised by her mother Marianne, a wedding photographer, and stepfather Victor Lucas, with younger sister Alexis Marie (Legit.ng). She joined YouTube in April 2015 at age ten as Desdamona, posting school vlogs, GRWM routines, and hauls; a 2017 "first day of 8th grade" vlog passed a million views and set the template.[edit]

The VidCon nod was the coronation. Named a first-time featured creator for the 11th VidCon in October 2019, Machado stood with Alan and Alex Stokes and Ben Azelart on the announcement slate (Tubefilter). She carried the momentum to TikTok as @d3zmachado, where short-form GRWM and fashion clips compounded the audience, and into the family channel The Mixed Six with Marianne, Victor, and Alexis.

October 2020 brought the backlash cycle: at 16 she drew heavy criticism for saying influencing was harder than a 9-to-5 job (Dexerto). She rode it out, kept posting through school, prom, and early adulthood, and in February 2024 welcomed her daughter (Famous Birthdays). Specific follower and like totals from earlier versions of this page could not be re-verified and are dropped.[edit]

Soft glam, fast fashion, and radical relatability for the 10-to-20 set: school mornings, hauls, try-ons, and now young motherhood, all in an upbeat conversational register. Followers informally call themselves "Dez girls." Reddit threads pick over family dynamics; she answers by posting through it.[edit]

iFANN-only numbers, read from live data: YouTube: 1,140,000 subscribers, 125,451,468 views (fetched 2026-10-15). No Last.fm data is attached to this profile. Popularity rank: #40,629 overall, #30,417 by type (ranked 2026-10-19). She holds no placement in iFANN's Global Fame Engine Top 1,000 or any Top-100 scope list.[edit]

Her channel's first name was Desdamona. The 2020 "harder than a 9-to-5" row is her defining controversy (Dexerto). She once built a makeup tutorial around Tyler, the Creator's "Flower Boy" era. Earlier versions of this page quoted her posts without links; the quotes are dropped pending sourcing.[edit]

Machado's household is content and family at once: mother Marianne, stepfather Victor Lucas, and sister Alexis Marie, all regulars on The Mixed Six (Famous Birthdays). In February 2024 she welcomed her first child, a daughter (BirthdayFamous). She has said she met the child's father, a high-school acquaintance, around age 15 or 16; the two co-parent and are not reported as together.[edit]
