Records
Dele Alli's peak years were extraordinary for a player his age. He won the PFA Young Player of the Year award in back-to-back seasons, a feat achieved by only a handful of players. He was also named in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year twice, in 2015-16 and 2016-17. His 18 league goals in 2016-17 from midfield were the most by any Premier League midfielder that season, and he was the first player born in the 1990s to reach 50 Premier League goal involvements. He played a key role in Tottenham's run to the 2019 Champions League final, scoring in the semi-final against Ajax. At international level, he was part of the England squad that reached the World Cup semi-finals in 2018.
