Murray's career is defined by his rise from a late first-round pick to an NBA All-Star. He holds the San Antonio Spurs single-season record for triple-doubles (13) and led the league in steals in 2022. His defensive accolades include an All-Defensive Second Team selection at age 21, the youngest in Spurs history. He is one of the few players in NBA history to average at least 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 9 assists in a season while also leading the league in steals.
