Dillan Caster grew up in Port Arthur, Texas, a city known for its industrial history and deep-rooted cultural identity in the "Red Dirt" region of the state. While specific details about his childhood schooling remain private, his upbringing in Texas clearly shaped his artistic voice and lyrical themes. He began exploring music at a young age, treating it as both a creative outlet and a potential career path long before stepping into the spotlight.

The first concrete step toward his professional career came in 2014 when he uploaded his debut track, "Pass Around," to SoundCloud. This independent release marked the start of a slow but steady climb through the underground hip-hop scene. For several years, he honed his craft by releasing solo tracks that showcased his unique flow and storytelling ability. His breakthrough moment arrived not through a traditional label discovery, but through his connection with Atlanta-based superstar Lil Yachty. By 2021, he had become part of Yachty's inner circle, setting the stage for his entry into the wider national conversation. [edit]

Dc2trill's rise accelerated significantly after joining the Concrete Boys ecosystem, a creative collective founded by Lil Yachty in partnership with Quality Control Music and HYBE. His first major exposure came in 2021 when he featured on the high-profile posse cut "Royal Rumble." This track brought him to the attention of audiences far beyond his home state of Texas, introducing his style to a national audience alongside established Michigan and national rappers.

Later that same year, he solidified his status as a core member of the crew by appearing in studio footage recording "Lord of the Beans" with Yachty. The collaboration proved pivotal, signaling his acceptance into the group's inner circle. In 2024, he became a focal point of the collective's expansion, appearing on the April track "ON THE RADAR CONCRETE CYPHER" and releasing "My Life" as part of the It's Us Vol. 1 rollout. He also dropped the single "Calling 4 Backup" with Draft Day in November 2024.

Momentum continued into 2025, with the artist surpassing 100,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. He announced plans for his second studio album, titled R.D.B RED DIRT BABY 2k26, which signals a shift toward a more personal, regional sound while maintaining his visibility on the national stage. By February 2026, he was featured on the Concrete Boys anthem "Millionaire," a track designed to lead up to the upcoming mixtape It's Us Vol. 2. His discography now includes hits like "Grooviest In The World," "Billy Mays," and "MILLIONAIRE," distributed through labels including Cleopatra Records and Concrete Boys. [edit]

This figure reflects his rapid ascent in the industry and earnings derived from multiple revenue streams.
