Da'Vine Joy Randolph

In 2024, Da'Vine Joy Randolph achieved one of the rarest feats in acting: a clean sweep of all five major supporting-actress awards, Oscar, BAFTA, Golden Globe, SAG, and Critics Choice, for a single performance. That same year, TIME named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world, recognizing not just her artistry but her impact on the industry. She is only the second Black actress to win the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for a performance in a film directed by a white director, and the first to sweep all five major awards for a single role. Her Tony nomination in 2012 made her one of the few actors nominated for both a Tony and an Oscar within a decade.
