David Crosby's influence on American music is profound. As a two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, he is one of the few artists to achieve that honor. His work with the Byrds and CSN/CSNY defined the folk rock and California sound, and his solo albums have been critically acclaimed. His legacy continues through his extensive catalog and the many artists he influenced.

AwardsDavid Crosby won the Grammy for Best New Artist in 1969 as part of Crosby, Stills & Nash. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice: with the Byrds in 1991 and with CSN in 1997. Rolling Stone listed five albums he worked on among the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
