David Bruckner

Bruckner's acclaim comes from critics and horror fans rather than awards bodies. The Night House was widely praised for its emotional depth and Rebecca Hall's performance, and The Ritual earned strong reviews for its slow-burn pacing and creature design. His V/H/S segment "Amateur Night" is regularly cited as one of the anthology's best. In 2026, his signing for The Caretaker and a Blob remake signaled a new level of studio trust.
