Daniel P. Driscoll

Driscoll's honors reflect a career that moved between soldiering and statecraft. The Eisenhower Award, presented in October 2026 by the Eisenhower Institute, is a 40-year-old distinction given to leaders whose commitment best exemplifies the institute's standard. He is also enshrined in the Officer Candidate School Alumni Hall of Fame, a recognition of his path from OCS commissioning to the top of the Army. At 39, he became the youngest person ever confirmed as Secretary of the Army, a fact that stands on its own in the record books.
