Dangerously in Love is the debut solo studio album by American singer Beyoncé, released on June 24, 2003 through Columbia Records. Recorded during a hiatus from Destiny's Child, the album established her as a major solo artist. Beyoncé served as co-writer and executive producer, exercising significant creative control over the project. The album blends R&B with soul and hip-hop, mixing uptempo tracks like the smash single Crazy in Love with ballads such as Me, Myself and I.
