Dandivine

Twenty years after the super robot Dandivine drove back the alien threat known as the Aposdoll, a fragile peace settled over Earth. That calm now faces disruption from within the toy industry itself. Kasuga, the manufacturer that once dominated the market with its robotic toys, has struggled to stay relevant while leaning too heavily on a single franchise. Genjuro Shijima, the company president, refuses to let the legacy fade and pushes for a resurrection of the giant machine, even if it means shattering the world's tranquility. The series Dandivine launched in October 2026 across networks like Gunma TV and TOKYO MX. Writer Toshiki Inoue guides this sci-fi action adventure featuring Takuma Terashima as Gekiha Shijima and Haruka Shiraishi as Akane Kuzumi. With twelve episodes planned for its first season, the show blends mecha combat with corporate drama. Early buzz suggests audiences appreciate the fresh take on a classic trope, where the danger comes not just from space but from human ambition.[edit]
