Dan Saltman

Daniel Blake Saltman, known online as dancantstream, is an American political streamer and former tech operator (CelebClan). He spent most of his career on tech startups before co-founding the gear publisher Everyday Carry with Bernard Capulong, the pair introduced as co-founders in a 2014 Hypebeast interview (CelebClan, Hypebeast). He later co-hosted the show "Anything Else?" and streamed Twitch criticism until the platform indefinitely suspended him on November 21, 2024, for "extreme harassment" (ComingSoon, GameRant).

His YouTube channel counts 24,400 subscribers and 310,940 views as of 2026 (live iFANN data, see Fame & Fandom).[edit]

Saltman worked in tech startups, in product and operations roles touching social media, privacy, and security, before entering publishing. EverydayCarry.com began as Capulong's gear-photo blog; Saltman joined as co-founder and the site grew into an editorial business, profiled by Hypebeast in April 2014 (CelebClan, Hypebeast). No birthday is published. Early-career details (military service, food-service jobs) claimed on earlier versions of this page could not be verified and are dropped.[edit]

After Everyday Carry, Saltman moved into streaming as dancantstream, co-hosting "Anything Else?" and positioning himself as a critic of Twitch moderation (EsportsBetting). Twitch indefinitely suspended him on November 21, 2024, citing "extreme harassment" and "maliciously raiding and harassing others" (ComingSoon, GameRant). The ban landed just ahead of a planned exposé stream with Asmongold; Saltman said it followed his data request ahead of deleting the account (Dexerto).

Post-ban, he alleged Twitch kept charging his subscribers for months; Dexerto's 2025 investigation found his last Twitch payment came March 13, 2025, and Twitch began refunding subs to permabanned channels (Dexerto). A 2025 controversy and startup claims from earlier versions of this page could not be verified and are dropped.[edit]

Polarizing by design. Supporters cast him as an unfiltered "cool uncle" taking on tech giants; critics describe a harassment-driven political streamer. His self-description runs "professional shit poster" and "accidental activist." No formal fandom organization exists around him.[edit]

iFANN-only numbers, read from live data: YouTube: 24,400 subscribers, 310,940 views (fetched 2026-10-14). No Last.fm data is attached to this profile. Popularity rank: #17,139 overall, #10,721 by type (ranked 2026-10-19). He holds no placement in iFANN's Global Fame Engine Top 1,000 or any Top-100 scope list.[edit]

He streams and posts as @dancantstream (Dexerto). His Twitch ban preceded a planned Asmongold exposé stream by days (Dexerto). A Reddit-discussion link carried as an "official" external link on earlier versions of this page is purged here as non-official.[edit]

Saltman keeps his family life private. No birthday is published. No parent, sibling, or household detail is published. Earlier versions of this page described a decades-long marriage; no source confirming a spouse could be located, so his relationship status is undisclosed.[edit]

Bernard Capulong, Everyday Carry co-founder (Hypebeast). Asmongold (Zack Hoyt), planned exposé-stream partner (Dexerto). HasanAbi, creator whose moderation disputes Saltman commented on. A third name listed on earlier versions of this page could not be verified and is dropped.[edit]
