Cyndi Lauper's achievements place her among the most decorated artists of her generation. She is one of the few entertainers to win Grammy, Emmy, and Tony awards. Her debut album She's So Unusual set a record for the most top-five hits from a debut female artist. She was the first woman to win the Tony for Best Original Score solo. Her induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame (2015) and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (2025) recognize her lasting influence on music and culture.
