Conan Lycan

Conan Lycan is an American professional wrestler and actor, currently active in the independent wrestling circuit.

Known to fans as Nicky Mariano, Lycan has made a name for himself in professional wrestling since beginning his career in 2018. He is recognized for his performances in promotions such as AEW Dark, AEW Dark: Elevation, and NYCW Gangs of New York. His training at The Black And Brave Academy under notable figures Marek Brave and Seth Rollins provided a strong foundation for his in-ring abilities.

Beyond wrestling, Lycan gained a broader audience through his appearance on the second season of MrBeast's reality competition series, Beast Games, where he competed as Nicky Mariano #118. This exposure led to reports of interest from WWE in potentially signing him, highlighting his growing profile in the entertainment industry.

With a significant social media following, Lycan maintains an engaged connection with his fans across platforms like Instagram and X. His dedication to his craft and his increasing visibility suggest a promising trajectory for his career in both wrestling and acting.[edit]

Before stepping into the professional wrestling spotlight, Nicky Mariano honed his skills and developed his persona, laying the groundwork for a career that would eventually attract wider attention.

Nicky Mariano was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. From a young age, he showed an interest in athletic competition, which eventually led him to the world of professional wrestling. Recognizing the need for formal training, Mariano enrolled in The Black And Brave Academy, a well-regarded wrestling school founded by wrestlers Marek Brave and the WWE’s Seth Rollins. This intensive training program, which he completed around 2018, provided him with the technical skills, ring psychology, and physical conditioning necessary to compete professionally.

His early days in wrestling were spent navigating the independent circuit, taking bookings wherever he could to gain experience and build a reputation. He became a familiar face in various regional promotions, often showcasing a hard-hitting style and a determined presence. The experience gained during this period was invaluable, allowing him to refine his performance and connect with audiences on a smaller scale before his eventual breakthrough into more prominent platforms.[edit]

Conan Lycan's professional wrestling career took off after his formal training, leading to appearances in major promotions and a notable stint on a popular reality series.

After graduating from The Black And Brave Academy, Conan Lycan began competing professionally around 2018. He quickly established himself as a talented competitor, earning opportunities with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), appearing on their AEW Dark and AEW Dark: Elevation shows. These appearances allowed him to showcase his skills to a larger audience, demonstrating a blend of power and agility that made him stand out.

His wrestling activities also included performances in promotions like NYCW, where he participated in events such as Gangs of New York. Lycan's reputation grew steadily within the independent scene, leading to reports of interest from WWE, a testament to his developing talent and potential. This attention from a major promotion underscored his impact on the wrestling landscape.

A significant moment in Lycan's career came with his participation in season two of MrBeast's reality competition series, Beast Games, which aired on Prime Video. Competing as Nicky Mariano #118, he reached a new level of public recognition. His performance on the show not only highlighted his competitive spirit but also brought him considerable mainstream attention, further boosting his profile and leading to increased opportunities.[edit]

Conan Lycan presents himself as a determined and physically imposing athlete in the professional wrestling world. His appearances on shows like AEW Dark and his participation in Beast Games have cultivated an image of a competitive individual with broad appeal. He engages with fans through social media, sharing insights into his training and career, which helps foster a connection with his audience.[edit]

Conan Lycan commands attention from the independent wrestling circuit to the high-stakes arena of reality television, a trajectory that recently saw him step onto the set of Amazon Prime's Beast Games. His profile has surged following reports of WWE interest in March 2026 and his subsequent attendance at tryouts during SummerSlam weekend. This momentum stems from a unique athletic paradox: a 6-foot-3, 270-pound competitor who executes high-flying maneuvers like 450s and moonsaults with the agility of a cruiserweight. While he carries a steady following within the indie scene as an eight-year veteran, the iFANN Global Fame Rankings do not yet include him in their published scope. The organization has evaluated his public footprint but has not assigned him a placement in the Global Top 1,000 or any specific category list. Without a formal ranking, there is no numeric score or ordinal position to cite against other global figures. His audience remains defined by the sport rather than a mobilized cultural movement. No official nickname for his supporters exists in current records. There are no documented fan campaigns, organized streaming pushes, or charity drives bearing his name. The community surrounding him operates through standard social media engagement on platforms like Instagram, where he shares updates on his career and training history. Fans recognize his background of leaving D1 football to train under Seth Rollins and Marek Brave at The Black And Brave Academy, but this narrative serves as professional biography rather than folklore. Unlike stars with viral moments that shut down streets or generate massive chart campaigns, Lycan's legend rests on his physical capabilities and recent industry buzz. His presence in promotions like AEW Dark and Limitless Wrestling has built a reputation for hybrid offense, yet this has not translated into a named fandom or ritualistic behavior. The lack of a specific title for his followers reflects a growing profile still finding its footing before potential mainstream consolidation.[edit]

Lycan's participation in Beast Games saw him identified by his birth name, Nicky Mariano, and a competitor number, #118. He has a strong presence on social media, particularly on Instagram, where he shares updates on his wrestling career and personal life with a substantial following. His professional wrestling career is noted for its consistent presence in Chicago-based promotions, contributing to the city's vibrant independent wrestling scene.[edit]

As of 2026, iFANN's editorial analysis places Conan Lycan's net worth at $1 Million. This figure anchors his eight-year trajectory from a Division I football prospect in Troy, New York, to a recognized independent wrestler and reality television competitor. His financial foundation rests on consistent match fees across major platforms like AEW Dark and NYCW, alongside the substantial payout reported for his appearance on Season 2 of *Beast Games*, where he earned approximately $347,264. While contract specifics remain private, his transition from the Black and Brave Academy under Seth Rollins to potential WWE interest signals a career with expanding earning potential. The combination of his athletic background, acting roles, and wrestling engagements sustains this current valuation without relying on external endorsements or household income.[edit]
