Mac Con Iomaire's contributions to Irish music span decades, from his foundational role in Kíla and The Frames to his acclaimed solo work. His violin can be heard on some of the most important albums of the 2000s, including David Gray's White Ladder and Damien Rice's O. His solo albums have been praised for their lyrical, landscape-inspired compositions. He has also composed for film and theatre, with his music featured in the Oscar-nominated short Late Afternoon.
