Cole Palmer's rise has been marked by a series of historic individual achievements. At just 22, he won the Premier League Young Player of the Season and the PFA Young Player of the Year in the same season, a rare double. His 22 goals in the 2023–24 Premier League season were the most by a Chelsea player in a single campaign since Diego Costa in 2016–17. He also became the first player to win both the Premier League Player of the Month and Goal of the Month in two separate months in the same season. His goal in the Euro 2024 final made him the youngest English player to score in a European Championship final.
