Colby Thicknesse's accolades are competitive rather than ceremonial. His 34-1 amateur record is the standout, an unusually deep amateur résumé for an Australian regional signee. He entered the UFC undefeated at 11-0, and his split-decision win over Asaf Chopurov at UFC 333 in October 2026 handed an undefeated opponent his first loss. That win drew a public reaction from Alex Volkanovski, a significant endorsement within the Australian MMA community. At 27, he has time to add to that record.
